Lodges

NCA has six best lodges, five of which are located on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater and offer spectacular views of the Ngorongoro Crater as well as all other nearby highlands and forests.

All of these facilities provide a peaceful and exciting stay within the NCA. One lodge is in the Ndutu Area, which is another prime area within the NCA known for its dense concentration of wildlife, wildebeest, and zebra calving zones.

Special Campsite

Apart from these are our luxurious tented lodges; two of which are located at Ndutu Area, one at Olduvai Gorge and another at about halfway between the Ngorongoro Crater and the great footprints site, Laetoli, right at Esirwa Village.

In addition to the lodges, there are 49 special campsites found in the best locations in the area, set to provide visitors with the best vistas and excitement during their overnight stays.

There is also the well-equipped Simba A public campsite at least 19 kilometers from the NCA main entry Gate – Loduare, less than one and a half kilometers from NCAA Old Headquarters, and less than 600 meters from the NCA Airstrip.

This campground can accommodate more than 200 people per night. The presence of these facilities and their distribution in the area provide visitors with a variety of lodging options.Â
